sustainability

Prioritising sustainability forces us to think about and improve the way we do things, which in turn helps us provide a better service to our customers. From the blank brands we work with to the packaging we use to ship our products, we do our best to minimise the environmental impact of our business.

All our blanks are made from certified eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and recycled polyester. We work solely with brands like Stanley/Stella and Continental Clothing who share our values, meaning we only stock premium products manufactured to meet rigorous ethical and environmental standards like Fair Wear and GOTS.

packaging

packaging

Packaging is a massive source of plastic and pollution, and is especially problematic in clothing and e-commerce industries. We've partnered with wastebased. and noissue to ensure all of our packaging is 100% non-toxic and compostable or recyclable. In case of returns, our mailers can be resealed and reused.

operations

operations

Our entire production facility is powered by 100% renewable energy sourced from wind and solar farms here in The Netherlands. For the small amounts of gas we use to keep warm during the colder months, we offset our carbon consumption by planting trees with a reforestation partner.

Energy is the biggest contributor to climate change, accounting for around 60% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Switching to green energy sources is key to achieving the sustainable development goals, and we're proud to be a carbon-neutral business.

logistics

logistics

We offer fully carbon-neutral shipping.

We've partnered with PostNL, DHL Express, and DeutschePost, all of whom have made sustainability a priority through company-wide goals in line with our values. As our carriers continue working towards eliminating the net carbon-footprint of their logistics networks – such as by switching to fully electric fleets – we continue to offset all carbon emissions generated in the delivery of our orders.

non-profit partners

We believe that business is a platform for change. To expand the positive impact of our business beyond our day-to-day operations, we teamed up with 1% for the Planet and Trees for All. Read more about our non-profit sustainability partners below.

1% for the Planet

As a member of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of all our sales to environmental non-profit partners, regardless of our own profit.

Today, the community includes over 2,000 businesses like us and thousands of non-profit partners operating across 60+ countries who recognise that the current level of environmental giving - only 3% of total philanthropy - is not enough to solve the most pressing issues facing our planet. But, with over $225 million donated by the community to date, we're working hard to change that.

Trees for All

We've partnered with Trees for All to plant one tree for every 10 products we decorate.

Trees for All is a Dutch non-profit whose projects in The Netherlands and abroad also foster greater biodiversity and better living conditions for the local population.

Trees absorb carbon from the atmosphere and provide habitat to 80% of terrestrial biodiversity – yet we lose 3.5 billion every year. Through this commitment, we're pushing back.
